Bhagyashri

Bhagyashri Patki is a Delhi based documentary photographer. She came to photography after spending time in web and graphic designing for a couple of years. The camera became her calling when she realized that she could no longer not afford to take photographs. Since then she has mixed technique and technology to create images that reflect her deepest thoughts. After pursuing a creative photography program from Sri Aurobindo Centre for Art and Communication, her expertise is in documentary and fine art photography. Her works have been published in The Sunday Guardian, Caravan Magazine, Art and Deal Magazine along with other online publications She is a co-founder of photography collective called Fseven Photographers. Her recent works includes a series developed as part of Project 365, based on Tamil literature. She has an in-depth knowledge book making and various printing techniques.

Namisha Raj

Namisha Raj has spent her years in graduating herself in the General Studies program at International Center of Photography, New York and holding a BFA degree from College of Arts, Delhi.

Namisha has exhibited her work at Greenpoint Gallery in Brooklyn, has also exhibited in group show "Elective Affinities" at Rita. K. Hillman Education gallery, ICP, New York. Namisha has assisted "Robert Nickelesberg" who is known for a war photography in Afghanistan. She has also worked with photojournalists "Beb Reynols" and "Joseph Rodriguez."

Namisha is a regular contributor to various Non Profit Organizations in New York like Catalyst Network, Opera Theater of Montclair, Lincoln Center, Art Expo, New York Indian Film Festival, South Asian International Film Festival and National Committee on American Foreign Policy.

It is the kind of experience she had in her photography profession and now she is sharing her life experiences with IIP students rewarding and allowing them to rediscover old passions and uncover new ones.

Jamari Lior

Having a vision in the combination of theory and practice of the photography Jamari Lior has studied in Germany, the Netherlands and India. An awarded student and lecturer at Universities and academics Jamari has exhibited her pictures in various countries, has published several books and DVDs about photography and works as an editor of a German photography magazine.

Jamari is an integral part of the Indian Institute of Photography and exchanging a fruitful relation between faculty and students, sharing her educational and practical experiences to the students of IIP.

Be it pictures of models or ethnographic photography - her visual work is always grounded on an anthropological base. She debunks trends in contemporary photography as deeply rooted in classical topoi by showing their historical and cultural origins.
