The Indian institute of photography on invitation from Shiv Nadar School organized a workshop conducted by Mr. Amit Chawla for a day in their school premises. More than 40 students from classes 5 to 8 took keen interest in the work with complete enthusiasm. Students were taught about the basics of photography and were given lessons on how to click a good picture. After the class students were taken out for outdoor shoot to click the pictures and get practical knowledge too. Students showed tremendous response and excitement throughout the workshop.
It was a complete student centric workshop where students enjoyed and learned photography skills. The School faculty also showed a great hospitality towards the IIP team. With the help of mentor tips and guidance students were able to get hundreds of good clicks. It was a amazing experience, seeing students thinking out of the box, innovating new ideas and sharing them with our mentor for polishing them. It was great to see how small children captured their innocence in photography.
The idea behind the workshop was to arrange the power of visual curiosity within students and to express their thoughts through pictures and give them a chance to learn something new and exciting.
